Shinrin Yoku: Forest Bathing | Adults
Shinrin yoku, translated from Japanese, means to immerse or
bathe all your senses in the healing forest. Forest bathing offers
an opportunity to slow down your mind and body and to be
present with the forest life around you. Shinrin yoku has been
shown to reduce stress hormones and to increase immune
functioning. Mindful activities will be presented during a
gentle walk, typically covering less than two thirds of a mile
and will end with a simple forest tea ceremony utilizing native
plants. Min/Max 4/15.
