Dear Readers,
The month of March for people in most of the country is a hopeful time with
anticipation of the warmer spring weather to come. This is not the case for us souls here
in Florida. We see the end of our two weeks of winter and then it’s “hello, summer!”
So, as I ponder the feelings that I have for spring and the month of March my thoughts
come to St. Patrick’s Day, the holiday associated with luck and good fortune. I believe
that I have been the recipient of good fortune when I was accepted into the diagnostic
medical sonography program at Eastern Florida State College. The pace and rigor of the
program can be a challenge but, I have never been so happy to learn and passionate to
acquire the needed knowledge and skill for this new career. I know that my classmates
join me in this sentiment and we truly hope you visit the college and see for yourself
what a wonderful program it is!
Sincerely,
Gail Miksch, Editor
