The Season had its ups and downs with the team going undefeated in July and going 9 straight wins, things were looking up as they headed into the final week of the inaugural CEBL season. But it was a couple of defeats against Saskatchewan that saw a turn as the number 2 team in the league would move to Championship weekend in Saskatchewan. Winning only 2 of the last 4, the team was heading to the Semi Finals with a 14-6 record, unfortunately, it was the Saskatchewan Rattlers who would be the opponents in the Semi Finals and who have been the Stingers biggest rivals.

Saskatchewan would move on to win the Championship Trophy in the Inaugural season.
