Thinking About The Children In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic , as Grenadian families grapple with job loss , food insecurity , and a rising incidence in domestic violence , The SPICE ISLAND CULTURAL DAY ASSOCIATION OF QUEBEC ( SICDAQ ), is happy to partner with three of Grenada ’ s local charities , Reach Within , The Father Mallaghan Home for Boys and Bel Air Home for Children and Adolescents .
In our mission to help the children of Grenada who are subject to these social ills , our GoFundMe Campaign , “ HELPING THE SPICE ISLAND KIDS ”, is created to assist these institutions continue the marvelous work which they have been doing for the kids in need in Grenada .

Reach Within Reach Within , a local charity based in Grenada since 2004 , is on a mission to help children and adolescents heal from developmental trauma caused by abuse , neglect or abandonment , so they may thrive in their present circumstances and create a joyful future . In partnership with the Child Protection Authority of Grenada , Reach Within works in all four residential care homes across the island , while also operating an urban drop-in center in St . George ’ s for older teens aging out of the residential care system and street-connected young adults in need of job / life skills training and therapeutic mentoring programs .
