For just a $ 5 donation to the shelter , you can get this 14-month calendar featuring a different pet adopted from AAS at a fun location in the American Dream City ! Winners from the annual Animal Essay Contest were announced on Friday , February 7th . This year , Wood Elementary school produced four of the 12 contest winners out of 942 entries citywide , with two of the students from Cynthia Mitchell Rohan ’ s Reading / Language Arts class .
