Tomah Chamber & Visitors Center Newsletter November 2019 Newsletter_digital

CHAMBER Chatter Monthly Newsletter Nov 2019 More Thursday night fun for the holidays! This holiday season we’re working with our local businesses to offer extended shopping hours on the Thursday nights between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays to give shoppers even more reasons to buy local! Keep an eye on our weekly communications and social media for updates and activities! If you are a business interested in getting involved, please contact Tina or Megan at 608-372-2166. Holiday Parade is more than a parade, it’s a business showcase! There’s no better way to kick off the holidays than with the Tomah Holiday Parade on November 29th! Dozens of beautiful lighted floats make their way down Superior Avenue spreading holiday cheer while all of the kids wait anxiously to run down some treats. Holiday Lights! The Tomah Holiday Lights will be back this year and will feature beautiful lights by the lake, as well as other festivities. Be sure to like the Tomah Holiday Lights page on Facebook and watch for the weekly events. Something else special is happening while the parade heads down our main street. You see, not all of the spectators are young kids. Many of them are their parents, aunts, uncles and granparents who might be your target audience! Businesses and organizations can take advantage of parades by having something to hand out to the adults, too! Maybe its a listing of available jobs, an upcoming event or sale, or a call for volunteers. Whatever your cause, it’s a very easy way to get in front of an audience for branding, job or marketing promotion!
