ITE-IPB students involved in the inaugural Bocuse d’Or Asia Selection in Singapore

On April 14 and April 15 2016, ITE-IPB Technical Diploma students were involved in
the inaugural Bocuse d’Or Asia Selection in Singapore. The competition took place at the
Food Hotel Asia 2016. The Year 3 students were divided into groups to assist as the
second apprentice to the 9 Asia teams competing as well as the food service to the Main
Judging Jury.

Trip by train to El Boliche for 40 USFQ students
The School of Hospitality Culinary Arts and Tourism of the USFQ organized a trip by train
to El Boliche, Ecuador. 40 students from the class Introduction to Hospitality got the
opportunity to live the experience with Professor Rafael Villota. The adventure began at
Chimbacalle Station and allowed passengers to try different traditional food on the road.
