It is worth highlighting that there are numerous organisations globally who offer conformance documentation based
upon their own assessment of the products concerned.
These documents should not be mistaken for either CE Certification or Declarations of Conformity and it is
recommended that careful assessment of the wording of documents should be undertaken before accepting them as
proof of compliance. Look out for ‘Verification of Conformance’, ‘Conformance Certificate’ or similar wording.
