The theme of the evening was ele- gantly formal and the amazing talents of former Idols winner and platinum producing singer/song writer, Elvis Blue added to the engaging atmosphere on the night. In addressing the suppliers on the night, Hinterland MD, Daan Bronk- horst said that “in line with the Hinterland slogan, which refers to rediscovering what really matters; what matters to the Hinter- land team is to manage our relationships with our suppliers to ensure profitability for both parties. Our niche is the platteland and the agri-sector, and while we strive to combine big-city slickness in terms of tech- nology, products and service, our hearts and minds will always remain humble and helpful in true platteland fashion.” Daan also encouraged suppliers to conti- nue to adopt new technology. ”Our producers are among the fastest adopters of precision farming technolo- gy in the world and their reputation for performing miracles in terms of high yields from tough soil and weather conditions is well-established.
