It's finally beginning to feel like Spring! Spring reminds me of fresh starts and growth. I have been doing some work recently for professional and personal growth. I'm sharing a graphic that Kansas 4-H agents are using as we plan programming.

This year has pushed me out of my own Comfort Zone - learning new names, faces, and processes; learning new curriculum to teach, especially STEM-related, and new tools and techniques.

I am a work in progress and hope that you consider yourself one also. As you work with 4-H members, keep in mind that they are also a work in progress and the goal for each of us is to be better tomorrow than we were today! Better friends, better communicators, better students, better showmen/women, better humans!

Know that I will challenge parents and club leaders

just as much as our 4-H members to think of new

ways to approach your projects and I'll

always be asking "What did you learn?"
