It’s been a busy summer here at PSNA, and the YNPs are no exception! We have been working hard to plan some great events for the rest of the year, as well as already planning some incredible stuff for 2017! But before we can welcome in the New Year, there are some big changes in the works for PSNA— namely, PSNA elections for executive and board positions. Your voices and opinions as YNPs matter—as we are the future of the nursing profession, it is imperative that we choose our representatives accordingly. But fear not, YNPs—we are here to help! In the next few issues, we will feature interviews with the PSNA presidential candidates. We hope they give you insight as your cast your votes! What characteristics, personality, and experience do you feel are necessary to run our organization? What sort of organization do you want PSNA to be? How do you believe it can help you develop professionally and personally? However you answer these questions, your opinion as a YNP matters! position to see the profession with fresh eyes. We are challenged as new nurses everyday with identifying problems in our new profession and finding innovative solutions—and now’s the time to rise to that challenge by choosing a leader who will support us along our journeys. So be sure to cast your vote in the PSNA Election—be heard, YNPs! So what can you do? Join us for the PSNA Tele-Town Hall on August 31st! PSNA’s first Election Tele-Town Hall What: When: August 31st at 7 pm Members will receive a phone call a few minutes prior to the event. The call will automatically connect you to the Town Hall should you choose to remain on the line. This is an excellent opportunity to meet PSNA's 2016 presidential candidates. We ask that participants prepare two to three questions for the event. The PSNA Election will run from September 1 through September 30.
