Thank you
one and all
As we move forward into a process of recovery from the Whakaari/
White Island eruption, we wanted to take this opportunity to say a
heartfelt thank you on behalf of everyone at Whakatāne Hospital and
more broadly the Bay of Plenty District Health Board.
We want to thank each and every person who supported us in whatever
form that took, however big or small the gesture, and whether that support
was as an individual or part of a larger community group or organisation.
The response from the wider Whakatāne community and beyond has been
overwhelming.
The countless acts of kindness, generosity, aroha and support shown, in
particular to our Whakatāne Hospital staff, have provided a heart-warming
counter to a tragic event and are deeply appreciated.
Thank you on behalf of the Bay of Plenty District Health Board.
