IN THE LEAD Women With this edition coming out in what has become known as Women’s Month, thanks to the 9 th of August being National Women’s Day, we decided to collect a few stories of hugely inspirational women in the running world that deserve recognition for what they do. – BY MANFRED SEIDLER & SEAN FALCONER That Inspire Colleen McNally Get to any race on a Saturday morning in the Gauteng North Province or Sundays in Central Gauteng, and you will see the busy figure of Colleen McNally hustling around, sorting out, answering questions, helping out, even dishing out coffee (when she is not drinking coffee, that is), and generally making herself useful. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and everyone who comes into contact with her is soon inspired, and almost always leaves with a smile.
