Discussion
• Chairperson opened the meeting and welcomed all
participants. He mentioned that the purpose of the
meeting was to get update on the phase-out of HCFCs,
and to ensure that related challenges are addressed so
that country’s obligations under the Montreal Protocol are
fulfilled.
• He further mentioned that the meeting will be followed by
the Kigali Amendment Legislative Workshop (KALW)
which would follow shortly at 11:00 am.
