-A week after the Campaign-
Sare’s Mom Aylin: Honey! What are you doing? Hurry up or you’ll be late for Asel’s birthday party.
Sare: Alright mom. I’m feeding Loli.
Aylin: Why are you looking so upset? Cheer up.
Sare: Mom, I missed Çıt Çıt so much. I always think of him.
Aylin:I missed Çıt Çıt too. But you should be happy for him because Çıt Çıt has a warm home and food.
Sare: You are right Mom.
-At Asel’s birthday party-
At the party there were some friends from school and neighborhood. Sare was also there. They gave
presents to Asel. Uncle Mustafa came into the room. He was Asel’s grandfather. Asel got very happy
because she likes him so much. Uncle Mustafa took Asel to the garden to give her birthday present. Asel
was excited. There was a lovely dog under the tree. It was Çıt Çıt. When Asel saw Çıt Çıt, she cried out of
joy and hugged her grandfather. She was so happy. Sare felt happy too because she could see Çıt Çıt
again.
One day Asel rushed to Sare’s house by crying.
Sare: What happened? Why are you crying?
Asel: Çıt Çıt is lost. I can’t find him anywhere.
Sare: Calm down. Where did you see him last?
Asel: At our garden but its door was open.
Sare: Don’t worry, we can find him. Let’s look for Çıt Çıt all together.
Sare, Asel and Loli started to look for him from near streets.
-Before “Çıt Çıt” Got Lost-
Çıt Çıt was in the garden of Asel’s house. He heard dogs’ barking outside. He wondered and got out of the
garden . He ran to the noise. He saw some dogs. They were bullying a little kitten. Çıt Çıt wanted to help
kitten and rescued it from the other dogs. The kitten was happy and grateful.
Then Çıt Çıt warned the dogs by saying: Guys, don’t disturb kittens and puppies anymore. They need
our affection. Be kind to them.
Other dogs: You are right. We are so sorry.
After warning them Çıt Çıt wanted to go back home. On the way while passing nearby a building site
suddenly he fell into a deep hollow.
Sare, Asel and Loli looked every street to find Çıt Çıt but he was nowhere. Loli started to run fast and
stopped in front of a building. He started barking. Asel and Sare followed Loli . Fortunately, They found
Çıt Çıt. In fact Loli found him. Çıt Çıt was in the hollow. They asked for help to take him out of it.
Because the hollow was so deep. Uncle Mustafa came and rescued Çıt Çıt. They were all happy to find
out Çıt Çıt. They took him to a vet because he got injured. The vet put a plaster on his leg. Çıt Çıt was
lucky but any other animals or little kids may fall down and die. So Uncle Mustafa went to the City Hall
to talk to the Mayor. Uncle Mustafa requested from the employees to build barriers around the building-
sites. The Mayor promised to take precautions not to harm children and animals.
After Çıt Çıt got better Asel took him to the park. They met Sare end Loli there. They played and had fun
together. They saw a boy giving brochures to people at the park. He handed out a brochure to Sare and
Asel too. The brochure was about a talent show and competition of pets. …
